Pear & Cinnamon Porridge

Prep Time: 2min Cooking Time: 10min Serves: 2

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 tablespoons KaneFibre
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 pear, peeled and chopped
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon cinnamon

To serve:

  • 1⁄2 pear, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon almonds or walnuts, chopped
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon cinnamon

Method:

  1. Place all ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat
  2. Simmer for 8-10 minutes, stirring frequently, until milk is absorbed and you have a nice creamy porridge
  3. Pour into serving bowls and top with extra sliced pear, toasted nuts and a sprinkle of cinnamon
