Cheesy Mashed Potato

  • 500g Sebago potatoes, peeled and cut into quarters 2/3 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon butter (optional)
  • 1⁄2 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons KaneFibre
  • 2 tablespoons chopped chives or parsley Pinch of salt





  1. Place potatoes in a large saucepan of water and bring to the boil. Boil for 15-20 minutes or until potatoes are soft. Drain well
  2. Return potatoes to pan, add milk and mash well using a fork or potato masher
  3. Add cheese and stir through until melted. Then stir through KaneFibre, herbs and salt
